About Dr. Michelle Oh —

Dr. Michelle Oh, a passionate and dedicated piano instructor, holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) in Piano Performance from the University of North Texas, where she studied under renowned pianist Adam Wodnicki. She earned a Master’s degree in Piano Performance at Kyung-Hee University and a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance at Chu-Gae Art University in Korea.

She has a wealth of experience as both an educator and a performer across the globe. She has performed with orchestras, including the Czech Festival Orchestra and the Sejong Philharmonic, and has been invited to give recitals and concerts in renowned venues such as the Youngsan Art Hall and the Seongnam Art Center. Her doctoral dissertation on Robert Muzynski's Second Piano Trio earned a membership in the National Scholar Honor Society.

Dr. Oh’s has taught as a music professor at several universities, including Kookmin University and Sangmyung University, and currently serves as an adjunct music instructor at Santiago Canyon College in California. In recognition of her excellence in teaching, she was awarded "Outstanding Instructor" at the Korean National Student’s Music Competition in 2023.

A sought-after competition judge and masterclass participant, Dr. Oh’s approach to teaching emphasizes both technical precision and artistic expression, helping students achieve their musical goals and reach their full potential. In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Oh is a proud member of the Music Teachers Association of California (MTAC). She is passionate about nurturing young talent, having helped her students win numerous awards and gain admission to prestigious institutions.
